Games Without WiFi

Offline play here is browser caching, not a separate download. When you first open a game while connected, the service worker stores that page, its scripts, and its art on your device. Our games do not talk to a server while you play — the board, the physics, and the scoring all run locally — so once the assets are stored, the game behaves identically whether the connection is on or off.

The one rule is that each game needs a first online visit. A title you have never opened has nothing cached, which is why a game can fail to load offline even though the site itself is installed. Open it once on WiFi, let it finish loading, and it joins your offline set from then on.

Turn-based and board games survive offline best, because nothing about them depends on a clock or a server. Snake, Block Stacker, 2048, Sudoku, Minesweeper, and the solitaire family are the most reliable offline picks. Action and shooting games also work, but they benefit from being opened once online at full quality so every asset is in the cache before you lose signal.

Scores stay on the device that earned them. There is no account to sync to and nothing is uploaded when you reconnect, so offline progress never merges with another phone or browser. Clearing site data, uninstalling the home-screen icon, or switching browsers wipes the cache — reinstall, reopen each game once online, and you are back to the same offline set.
