Table sports, pitch games, and target sports — eight titles split between AI opponents and same-device play.
About Sports Games
The table and pitch games share a scoring model: first to five wins. Pong is the purest version on a 600 by 400 court with 15 by 80 paddles and a 12-unit ball that gains speed every time it is struck, so the serve angle decides how long a rally lasts. Air Hockey uses the same 600 by 400 table with a 15-unit puck and 25-unit paddles, but your paddle tracks the pointer faster than the puck travels, which turns defence into a positioning game.
Soccer is the loosest of the three: a 600 by 400 pitch with a 10-unit ball that keeps 98% of its velocity per frame, so it coasts and rebounds rather than stopping. You move faster than the ball, which makes interception — not dribbling — the winning skill.
Pool is the only rules-heavy game on the shelf. It is turn-based 8-ball against the CPU or a friend on the same device: the first object ball potted after the break assigns solids or stripes, you must clear your group before the 8-ball, and a miss, scratch, or wrong-group pot ends your turn. Shots top out at a fixed maximum power, so soft control matters more than a full-power break.
The target sports use drag-and-release aiming with real trajectory. Archery grades hits by ring — Perfect, Great, Good — and chains them into combos; a GOLD target every third level pays triple. Mini Golf has six holes where you drag back from the ball to set power, and the ball slows from friction and banks off walls, so a wall is usually a better route than a straight line.
Street Basketball and Boxing Champ are the two timing games here. Basketball is a 60-second hoop challenge where a dotted trajectory previews the shot and clean swishes score bonus points with a multiplier that climbs to 3.5x. Boxing Champ is read-and-react: the rival telegraphs each punch with a pulled-back glove and a red marker, and blocking just before impact triggers a stun window in which your punches deal double damage.
Because every game in this shelf is either AI-driven or hotseat, there is no matchmaking wait and no network play — you start a match the moment the page loads.
Sports Games — Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play against a friend?
Yes in Pool, which supports hotseat play on the same device, and in the two-player games on other shelves such as Tank Battle and Chess. Pong, Air Hockey, and Soccer are played against a computer opponent.
How long is a match?
The table and pitch games are first to five, which is usually three to five minutes. Mini Golf is six holes scored on total strokes, and Street Basketball is a fixed 60-second round.
Do sports games work on a phone?
Yes. Paddles and players follow your finger or use on-screen buttons, and the aiming games use drag gestures that work the same way with a mouse or a fingertip.
Is there any network or online multiplayer?
No. Every match is against a computer opponent or a second player sharing the same device, so there is no matchmaking and no connection requirement beyond loading the page.
Which sports game is easiest to learn?
Pong, because there is only one paddle axis and one ball to read. Pool is the deepest, since you also have to manage group assignment, turn order, and the 8-ball.
Are match results saved?
Per-game statistics and best scores are stored in your browser on the device you played on. There is no account, so they stay local.
