Mini Golf is a top-down browser putting game. Aim your shot by dragging back from the ball — the further you pull, the more power you put behind the putt. Release to send the ball rolling across the green. The ball slows from friction and bounces off walls and obstacles, so read the layout before you commit.
The course has 6 holes of rising difficulty, from a straight opener to winding layouts with wooden barriers. Sink the ball in the cup to finish a hole; your total strokes across all six holes is your score, and the lower the better. A local best score is saved in your browser.
This version features smooth physics, an aim-and-power guide, and works on both desktop (mouse drag or arrow keys + space) and mobile (touch drag).
The numbers matter because the green is small: the course is 600 by 440 units with 16-unit walls, an 8-unit ball and a 14-unit cup. Maximum power is 17 units per frame with a 170-unit drag limit, and friction is 0.985 per frame — so a full-power putt covers a lot of ground before it stops, and most holes are two-shot problems rather than one.
Controls
- Aim & Power — Drag back from the ball and release to putt (mouse or touch)
- Rotate Aim — Arrow Left / Right or A / D to fine-tune direction
- Power — Arrow Up / Down to set power, then Space to charge & fire
- Charge Shot — Hold Space to fill the power meter, release to putt
Tips & Tricks
- 1Pull back in a straight line away from where you want the ball to go — the aim line points opposite your drag
- 2Use walls to bank the ball around obstacles instead of forcing a direct line
- 3Short, controlled putts beat max power — overshooting leads to long comeback strokes
- 4On tight holes, aim for the gap between barriers and let friction stop the ball near the cup
- 5Watch the dashed aim line length; it mirrors your current power so you can calibrate each shot
- 6The cup is 14 units against an 8-unit ball, so a ball arriving fast can lip out — aim to arrive slow near the hole rather than dead-on at speed
- 7Friction is 0.985 per frame, meaning a full-power putt rolls a long way; on most holes a two-shot plan beats trying to sink it in one
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I aim and putt in Mini Golf?
Press and drag backward from the ball — the dashed line shows your aim and the power scales with how far you pull. Release to putt. On desktop you can also use the arrow keys to aim and Space to charge and fire.
How many holes are there?
The round has 6 holes with increasing difficulty. Your score is the total number of strokes; a lower total is better, and your best round is saved locally.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. Touch and drag anywhere on the course to aim and putt — it is fully touch-optimized and works in portrait or landscape.
How big is the course?
600 by 440 units, with 16-unit walls, an 8-unit ball and a 14-unit cup.
How much power can a putt have?
Up to 17 units per frame, reached by dragging back the full 170 units.
Why does the ball keep rolling past the hole?
Friction is only 0.985 per frame, so the ball decelerates slowly. Plan for the ball to travel further than it looks.
