How to Play
Thunder Fighter is a fast vertical scrolling shooter. Pilot a compact strike craft through waves of enemy fighters, dodge incoming fire, collect power-ups, and push toward boss encounters every few waves.
Your cannon fires automatically once the mission starts, so your main job is movement, positioning, and survival. Destroy small fighters quickly to build score, watch for heavier ships that take more hits, and prepare for boss patterns when the wave count reaches a multiple of five.
Power-ups change the fight. W upgrades your spread shot, S adds shield charges, B restores one thunder bomb, and the repair item restores a life. Chain enemy kills to build a combo multiplier, but taking hits or letting enemies escape resets it. A shield can absorb hits, but careless collisions still cost momentum, so weave through gaps and stay near open lanes whenever possible.

How many points is each enemy worth?
Base values are 90 for a standard fighter, 160 for heavy tank enemies, and 1000 for a boss, before the combo multiplier is applied.
What happens when I get hit?
You lose one life unless a shield charge absorbs it. You start with 3 lives and lose the run at zero, so shields are worth more than an extra weapon level in dense waves.
How much room do I have to move?
The play area is 420 by 640 units, and your craft is clamped to roughly 28 units from each side edge and between 86 and 596 vertically, so you cannot hide at the very top or bottom.
