Claw Machine is a browser arcade prize-grabber game. Choose a themed cabinet (Candy, Ocean, or Space), then spend one of six credits to slide the claw, charge the power meter into the green sweet spot, match Near or Far depth, and drop. Soft claws can miss on contact or slip while lifting — only toys that reach the chute count. Common, rare, and legendary toys award rising points; streaks add bonuses. Unlock each emoji in your Prize Album and complete a daily goal for extra score. It is a pure score chase: no wagering, no prizes, no payouts.
Depth is a binary choice, not a continuous one: the two shelves sit at 318 and 352 pixels, and picking the wrong one means the claw closes on empty air no matter how good your aim was. The claw itself opens to 28 units and closes to 12, so a toy wider than the closed gap is never coming up.
Six credits sounds generous until you realise a slipped grip costs one just as surely as a clean miss does.
Controls
- Pick a theme on the Start screen, then tap Start (6 credits)
- Hold Move to slide the claw; toggle Near / Far for depth
- Hold Drop to charge power, release in the green zone to grab
- Open Album to see unlocked prizes; New Game resets the run
Tips & Tricks
- 1Release Drop in the green power band for the best grip
- 2Match Near/Far to the toy's shelf or you will miss
- 3Legendary (gold ring) toys sit on the edges and are harder
- 4Keep a streak going — each secured catch boosts the next payout
- 5Near and Far are only 34 pixels apart, but picking wrong guarantees a miss — watch which shelf the toy sits on before you drop
- 6The claw closes to 12 units, so anything much wider than that is a poor target no matter how well centred
- 7Six credits go fast; spend the first two on common toys to build a streak before risking one on a legendary
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did it slip going up?
The soft claw can drop mid-lift. Better alignment and power reduce that chance.
What is the Album?
Every secured prize emoji unlocks permanently in your local Prize Album.
Do themes change gameplay?
Yes — each theme has different toys and a slightly different slip difficulty.
How many tries do I get?
Six credits per run, and each drop costs one whether it succeeds or slips.
What do Near and Far mean?
Two fixed shelf depths at 318 and 352 pixels. You must match the shelf the toy is actually sitting on.
Can I grab any toy?
No. The claw closes to about 12 units, so oversized prizes are effectively impossible to secure.
