Spiral Tower is a browser helix-tower bounce game. Your ball bounces automatically on colored platforms wrapped around a central tower. Drag or tap left/right to rotate the helix so the ball falls through gaps. Touch a black danger platform and the run ends. Clear floors for points, chain multi-floor drops for combos, and watch the color theme shift as you descend. The controls are tuned for mobile rotation and instant restarts. The tower is built from eight sectors of 45 degrees each, with the ball orbiting between an inner radius of 30 and an outer radius of 108. Floors sit 132 units apart and the ball is 12 units across, bouncing at 400 units per second against gravity of 1700 — one bounce lasts about half a second, which is exactly how long you have to line up the next gap.
Controls
- Drag horizontally on canvas — rotate tower
- LEFT / RIGHT buttons — rotate
- ROTATE (primary action) — rotate a chunk
- Space — start; during play rotates / boosts
- P — pause
Tips & Tricks
- 1Rotate early — waiting until you hit black is usually too late
- 2Aim for wide gaps when falling fast from a combo
- 3Black platforms are death; colored ones bounce you
- 4Short sessions: restart immediately and chase a deeper floor streak
- 5One bounce lasts about half a second, so you only get one decision per floor — decide before you land, not after
- 6Eight sectors at 45 degrees each means a single keyboard step is half a sector; two taps lines up the next gap cleanly
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I avoid black platforms?
Rotate the tower so a gap or a safe colored arc is under the ball before you land.
What raises my score?
Each floor you clear adds points; falling through multiple floors in a row builds a combo.
Mobile support?
Yes — use the LEFT/RIGHT and ROTATE buttons or drag on the canvas.
How is the tower built?
Eight sectors of 45 degrees, with the ball orbiting between radii of 30 and 108 units.
How much time do I have per bounce?
About half a second. Floors are 132 units apart and the ball bounces at 400 units per second under gravity of 1700.
What is the fastest way down?
Chain multi-floor drops through aligned gaps — each extra floor in one fall multiplies the combo rather than adding a flat score.
