How to Play
Hexa Puzzle is a browser hex-grid shape-fitting puzzle. Place hexagonal tile pieces onto a honeycomb board to match the target pattern. Rotate the active piece, then click a highlighted cell to place it.
Each level asks you to fill more of the board. Use limited hints when you're stuck. Complete the required placements to clear the level, earn stars, and advance.
The requirement climbs with the level: you need 5 + 2 × (level − 1) placements, capped at 20, so level 1 needs 7 and everything from level 8 upward needs the full 20. Your star rating compares your score against a target of level × 100, which means the same performance that earns three stars early will only earn one or two later.

- Hint — Highlights one valid placement (limited per level)
- Next Level — Continue after the celebration screen
Tips & Tricks
- 1Rotate first — many placements only work at a specific orientation
- 2Use hints early on tight boards; they don't carry between levels
- 3Work from the center outward to avoid trapping edges
- 4Star rating depends on score relative to the level target

- 6Because the target is level × 100, score per placement has to improve as you climb — efficiency, not just completion, drives stars
- 7A hex cell has six neighbours rather than four, so a piece that looks stranded often has one more escape route than it appears to

How do I rotate pieces?

How many hints do I get?
Three hints per level. Each hint flashes a valid cell for a few seconds.
How are stars calculated?
Your score is compared against a target of level × 100. Clearing the level gets you through, but beating the target by a wide margin is what earns three stars.
Is there a game over?
Levels are cleared by placement count; keep placing until the celebration screen appears, then tap Next Level.
How many placements does a level need?
5 plus 2 for each level beyond the first, capped at 20 — so level 1 needs 7, level 4 needs 13, and level 8 and beyond need 20.
Do hints carry over to the next level?
No. You get a fresh set of three hints on every level.
