2. Space Shooter — Classic alien blaster

Move and shoot at descending invaders before they reach the ground. The template for every retro shooter — still addictive in the browser.

The numbers make the strategy obvious. Every wave is exactly 4 rows by 8 columns — 32 targets at 10 points each, so a fully cleared wave pays 320 — and your cannon has a 300 ms cooldown that caps you at roughly three shots per second. Because you cannot spray, clear the edge columns first to widen your safe lanes and watch the lowest row, since that is the real deadline.

3. Space Rocks — Rotate and thrust

Break space rocks into smaller pieces while keeping your ship alive. Vector-style arcade tension with simple controls.

This is a momentum puzzle more than a shooting gallery. Rocks start at 0.06 of the screen width and split exactly once — a hit breaks a rock into two halves only while it is larger than 0.03, and those fragments inherit 1.5 times the parent speed. The screen wraps, so escaping off one edge and re-entering on the other is a legitimate way out of a tight cluster.

4. Road Hopper — Cross or crash

Time your hops across traffic and logs. Pure timing challenge that feels great on touchscreens.

The course is 540 units tall on a 40-unit grid with fixed lanes: five river rows on top drifting at 1.5, 2, 1, 1.8 and 1.2 in alternating directions, then road rows below at 2.5, 3 and 2 and faster. On the water, move with the log and plan your jump off it; on the road, wait for a gap rather than rushing mid-lane. The two safe banks exist so you can stop and read the next set.

5. Color Jump — One-tap reflex

Jump through matching color platforms. Fast sessions, instant restarts — perfect mobile action.

The ball is 18 units across, platforms are 100 wide by 12 tall with about five visible at a time, and landings are judged generously — the ball counts as landed from roughly 10 units above the surface. The skill is reading the color queue: the first color in the queue is the one you need now, so switch direction early to line up with the next safe platform instead of reacting after the bounce.

6. Knife Throw — Spinning target skill

Stick knives into a rotating log without hitting other blades. Simple rules, tricky rhythm.

The target is 80 units in radius on a 400 by 500 canvas, and each knife is 60 units long. The number you must place scales with the level as 8 + level — nine at level one, thirteen at level five — all around the same 80-unit rim, so the gaps shrink as you go. Throw when the gap faces you rather than when a blade passes, because rotation speed increases each level.

Tank Battle is the pick if you have someone next to you. Two players share one keyboard — WASD plus Space against arrow keys plus Enter — and shells ricochet off the arena walls, so bank shots around cover decide most rounds. Every hit removes 20 HP.
